21kms of ups and downs and twists and turns.

The 2024 course has been nearly completely redesigned and makes the most of the new and improved Craters Mountain Bike Park.
The first 10km includes traversing the single track the rolling hills of Craters Mountain Bike Park. Section 2 is mainly flat and allows you to catch your breath and transports you to the super fun Craters of the Moon Geothermal Boardwalk.
The Board Walk section is a real treat and involves 2km of lunar type geography full of hot steam rising from the ground.
Exiting the board walk, you can grab another drink, before you are homeward bound which initially involves a downhill, an uphill and a final downhill descent into the Wairakei Resort.
Burst through the final tunnel, experience the lights and cranking music and you have completed your big night out.
