Ledlenser Possum Night Trail Run – Taupo 2022
Back to celebrate the shortest day and the longest night, The Possum Night Trail Run, is on Saturday 11th June 2022, based at Wairakei Resort, Taupō.
The Possum entries sold out this year at just over 1600 entrants with many families, and the more serious athletes, joining the fun and challenge of participating in the dark. The Possum is New Zealand’s favourite night trail running festival made special with the lighting effects and adrenaline pumping music out on the course.

The Ledlenser Possum Night Trail Run is proud to be supporting Kids Greening Taupo again this year. This year the event raised $2575 for this great organisation making a difference to local kids and the community.
The best event experience combines participating in the event with staying at the historic Wairakei Resort Taupō, the heart of the event, as well as the start and finish line for all distances. The Wairakei Resort has to plenty to offer participants.
